A poorly prepared jump, too heavy a landing or excessive tilt is enough to stop you dead. During play, you alternate between decisive accelerations, measured braking and mid-motion corrections to go through pipes, absorb bumps and avoid hazards that punish the slightest rush. You progress by reading the terrain, observing signage and adjusting your pace before every delicate sequence, which gives each course a constant tension.
