In Usual Days, you find yourself locked in a Japanese room where every corner may conceal the solution to your escape. The game begins in a closed, silent and deliberately ordinary setting, but that impression quickly changes when you notice that the objects around you are not there by chance. You examine the furniture, details of the room and elements that seem useless at first glance. A lock, an inaccessible compartment or a mechanism you do not yet understand can halt your progress, pushing you to look at what you have already discovered in a different way. Although some texts are in Japanese, progress largely depends on your attention to shapes, positions and visual clues scattered throughout the room. As you make your escape, you collect objects and look for the right time to combine them or use them on a specific obstacle. An item kept in your inventory may only reveal its purpose after a new discovery, giving every return to an earlier detail greater significance. You alternate between careful searching, deduction and thoughtful experimentation, never immediately knowing which clue will unlock the next step. The puzzles require you to connect what you see with what you possess while avoiding distractions caused by appearances. Usual Days turns a familiar room into a small maze of observation, where patience and curiosity eventually reveal the path to the exit. Enjoy!
