In Thread Sort, you face a series of tangled spools whose threads of every color happily intermingle, and your mission is to put order back into this lovely chaos. You grab the top thread of a spool to place it onto another spool that shares the same color, or onto an empty slot that acts as a buffer space. Pleasure sets in gradually: each well-considered move brings a spool closer to uniformity, and as soon as it contains only a single color, its threads automatically connect to the canvas and stitch their part of the picture, point by point. Smooth animations and warm visuals accompany every good decision, turning thoughtful play into a true calming ritual. But satisfaction has a price: empty slots are scarce and fill up quickly, so a chain of poorly anticipated moves can block all progress long before the picture is finished. You must constantly weigh your options, choose which spool to free first, and decide wisely when to use buffer slots without saturating them. The order in which you handle colors changes everything: some situations require freeing the least numerous threads first to create room, others demand quickly consolidating a dominant color. Each level offers a fresh configuration, and thus a new series of decisions to make, and the final reward, the embroidered image that reveals itself thread by thread, is worth all the effort.
