You float alone in space, far from Earth, after losing your ship, with only a suit, a tank of fuel and the air you breathe. From the first moments, every trip becomes a matter of survival, because the goal is simple to understand and hard to maintain: reach Earth before your oxygen is exhausted. During play you rarely move in a straight line. You observe the planets, let their gravity pull you off course, then correct your heading at the right moment to conserve your main thrust. VESTA, the assistance unit fixed to your chest, warns you when your direction becomes wrong, which gives exploration a constant tension. You must also watch abandoned supply stations, as each provides only one decisive resupply, exactly when you need it most. The route remains dangerous, even when you think you have found a safe trajectory. Sealed containers can be opened if you take the time to deal with them, creating a choice between caution and urgency. Fields of debris sometimes block the way, ready to tear your suit if you arrive too fast, while they become passable at very low speed. You can also use a weaker ion propulsion, powered by battery rather than fuel, to reserve your stores for truly critical situations. Between suit repairs, useful detours and bursts of speed not to waste, every decision changes the course of the journey. Once back on Earth, the game pushes you to start again with a new constraint, carrying cargo on the return. Enjoy!
Use the mouse by dragging anywhere to look around and aim, the ENGINE button or the spacebar to briefly fire the main thruster, the STOP button or X to turn around and slow down, the DRIFT button or Z to align yourself with your direction of travel and sidestep rocks, the ION DRIVE button or V to use battery-powered electric thrust, the SCAN button or F to locate nearby supplies and map debris fields, the REPAIR button or T to repair your suit, and Tab or the small map to open the planning map and choose a destination. Use the AIM ONLY / HOLD = THRUST switch to choose whether dragging also fires the engine.
