You play as SCP-173, a creature confined to the corridors of a Foundation complex, and the entire game rests on one relentless rule: you may only move when no one is looking. From the very first moments you watch the patrols, you wait for a blind spot to form, then you dash from one dark area to another before an agent turns their head. The tension comes from this constant contrast between forced immobility and sudden movement. A single glance freezes you in place, at the worst moment, in the middle of an exposed passage or just before a monitored area. You must then catch your breath, analyze the dark corridors, use corners and shadows to stay out of sight, and choose a route that does not trap you in a dead end. Throughout the escape, each advance feels like a calculated gamble. You look for the right moment to cross a corridor, bypass a patrol, or hug cover without attracting attention. If you make a mistake, capture is never far and a relentless chase can begin, instantly turning your progress into a desperate flight. Therefore the game is not only about hiding but also about sensing the guards' rhythm, anticipating their movements and deciding when to remain motionless longer to secure what comes next. You can also upgrade your stealth abilities to better resist the pressure of security forces. Between observation, patience, sudden bursts of speed and the constant threat of being spotted in a dark corridor, every situation renews the tension of the escape. Enjoy!
