Robby Superhero Obby places you in a 3D obstacle course where each part of the level is overcome by a specific power and your sense of timing. From the start, you move from platform to platform, you aim for the next safe passage, then you adapt how you progress according to what the environment imposes. At one point, a wall completely blocks the road and you must destroy it to open the way. Further on, the passage becomes so narrow that you must reduce your size to slip inside without falling. Some areas also require jumping higher to reach a ledge, while others push you to observe before acting, because falling returns you to the last checkpoint reached. Progression thus keeps a true rhythm of trial, error, and then success, with a constant feeling of moving forward thanks to your good decisions. The game changes again when the course begins to play with your perception and your composure. X-ray vision allows you to spot hidden elements of the route, which prevents you from launching yourself at random, and stopping time gives you a short breather in the face of threatening obstacles or trickier sequences. In other sections, you must measure the right moment to commit, choose the useful power rather than another, and remain attentive to the level structure, because each ability responds to a different type of blockage. As you progress, you activate checkpoints that secure your advancement, you collect cups during exploration and thus unlock new skins for your character.
