Railroad Magnate puts you in charge of a budding railway network, where each passenger journey can fund the next expansion. At the beginning of the game, you run your first trains between the available stations and watch money come in from the passengers you transport. This reserve quickly becomes essential, as it allows you to open new stations and expand your company. The map gradually transforms before your eyes: more platforms appear, buildings multiply, and new trains bring the network to life. The colorful low-poly style makes this growth immediately clear while maintaining a light and pleasant atmosphere. The progression nevertheless requires you to choose the right moment to invest. If your income remains too low, certain upgrades or stations stay out of reach and your development slows down. You can then continue operating the lines already established to collect the money you need, before strengthening parts of your route to pursue a more profitable expansion. Every upgrade helps your network evolve, while the arrival of new infrastructure makes you feel like you are building an increasingly important company.
