You play a sleepy office worker dozing over a quarterly report who suddenly wakes up inside a fortress, a club in hand, with a single mission: hold out all night against waves of magical creatures. From the first moments, the game puts you under pressure, as enemies arrive in increasingly dangerous groups and you must move around the assaults, strike at the right moment, pick up the coins that fall to the ground and constantly decide where to take the risk to stay. The rise in difficulty is felt very quickly, since each wave increases the monsters' resistance and aggression, which forces you to adapt how you approach space and your priorities. A poorly managed section, an encirclement or a few hits taken too quickly can compromise everything, but each vanquished foe also brings you closer to a new level, with immediate healing and lasting upgrades to damage and endurance. Over the course of the match, you alternate between urgency and preparation, because collected coins are used to choose between relieving an immediate danger or preparing the next phase with greater ambition. You can invest in small health or speed bonuses to hold on a little longer, or save up for more striking weapons that truly change the feel. The hammer, for example, triggers area lightning capable of clearing a cluster, while the golden sword envelops your hero in flames and adds extra contact damage. This progression creates a very gripping rhythm, because no round plays out exactly the same way, enemy appearances varying from one attempt to another. Even the environment contributes to the action fun, with simple interactions and coins that bounce very lively, which makes every lull precious before the next rush. Enjoy!
