You enter a prison gym where your inmate begins thin and little respected, then must gain power exercise after exercise. From the first seconds, you move between several stations to chain push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups, each repetition progressively strengthening your character. The game gives a real feeling of power progression, as you go from a fragile newcomer to a much more imposing fighter in the eyes of others. It is not enough to act randomly, you must choose when to stop to change activity, when to return to train and how to move forward without wasting time. Some moments slow you down, because your current strength still limits what you can accomplish effectively, and this resistance to progress makes each improvement more satisfying. Throughout the game, you mainly seek to climb the hierarchy by developing your body in a steady way. You can also eat to continue your progression, which adds a concrete back-and-forth between effort and recovery, instead of reducing the experience to a simple succession of exercises. The presence of food to pick up introduces a useful small detour in your routine, because you must spot the right moments to fetch it before heading back to a station. The variety then comes from the order in which you organize your actions, the areas you frequent, the rhythm you adopt and the obstacles linked to your starting level. The principle is quickly understood, but the interest remains in the visible progression, the patience and the choice of your priorities to become stronger and to impose your presence in this prison. Enjoy!
