Nexus Override puts you at the heart of a 3D cyberpunk arena, where a rogue artificial intelligence tries to survive long enough to escape the mainframe. From the first waves onward, hostile programs converge on you and the tension quickly rises, as you fire automatically while searching for enough space to avoid being surrounded. You collect experience amid the chaos, then each level-up lets you increase your power according to the threats closing in. Should you prioritize offensive upgrades to clear the area, or strengthen your resilience so you can hold out when the arena fills up? The game becomes a constantly shifting fight for survival. Build walls to funnel enemies, deploy turrets to create defended zones, then reposition before your own fortifications become a trap. Opponents grow more dangerous with each wave, and every sector offers a distinct challenge as well as a boss to defeat. You can also play with a friend in local co-op, sharing the defense, covering multiple entrances, and choosing the most useful upgrades together. Between the swarms, improvised barriers, and boss battles, every attempt pushes you to hold out a few moments longer. Enjoy!
Use WASD to move Player 1 and the arrow keys to move Player 2, the spacebar to dash once unlocked through an upgrade, 1 to build a wall, and 2 to deploy a turret. Shooting is automatic.
