Mahjong Chef places you in front of a board of stacked tiles where you must make all the pieces disappear by matching two identical tiles that are free on one side. From the start of a game, you study the layout to spot what can be removed without blocking what comes next, then you progress pair after pair until you completely clear the level. Some tiles are immediately visible, others remain face down and force you to reveal them before knowing whether they will be useful later. Progress therefore requires attention, because a tile that seems interesting can hide another that is much more useful. When you string together the right matches, the board lightens, space opens, and you earn coins once the stage is completed. The game becomes more tense when obstacles interrupt your reading of the board. Rock tiles, for example, cannot be chosen directly; they only break when a match is made right next to them, which pushes you to plan your moves rather than play at random. You must constantly decide whether it is better to free a tight area, reveal a hidden tile, or keep a visible pair for later. If you make a mistake, you can undo your last pair, and if the situation freezes, other aids allow you to restart the round. This alternation between observation, small gambles and progressive unlocks gives the game a very gripping rhythm, with a feeling of control that grows as the board empties. Enjoy!
