Magic Aim places you in a real-time artillery match where a small mage faces waves of monsters on hilly terrain, with arced shots that must be adjusted by watching the wind. From the first seconds you look for the right angle, you charge your wand, then you release an elemental salvo that crosses the screen before splitting high in the sky to hit multiple enemies. The match gives you no respite, because opponents counterattack while you prepare your next shot. You advance, you retreat, you search for a better position, and above all you try to read trajectories quickly enough not to waste your attacks. The goal is simple to understand: survive, eliminate all monsters present, then reach a new, more difficult area to raise your score until defeat. While playing you quickly feel that every decision matters, because changing element actually changes how a projectile flies and therefore how to approach the same situation. Fire, water, lightning and earth do not demand the same reading of arcs, which constantly renews confrontations. You can also raise an energy shield to stop an enemy shot, and if your timing is perfect you obtain a perfect block that restores mana and gives you a brief acceleration, a precious detail to regain the initiative. Between exchanges, items fall to the ground and strengthen your next shots, which pushes you to take risks to recover them. When you fully clear a map, you are teleported to a new layout, with other reliefs, other angles and stronger pressure. Your turn to play! Enjoy!
Use the mouse to aim / to charge / to fire / for energy shield, A / D to move, 1-4 to swap element and Esc to pause the game.
