Hopnova places you in the ascent of a small explorer who climbs from platform to platform in a scenery suspended above the void. From the first moments, you must accompany the explorer's jumps with precision to continue rising, avoid dangers and not lose your momentum. The game moves fast, every landing counts, and the slightest hesitation can make you miss a support or send you into an obstacle. You chain heights in a nervous run where the objective is simple, to reach the highest possible level while improving your best score. The further you progress, the more the tension rises, because opportunities to fall multiply and the safety space always seems too short. During play, you constantly read the position of the floating platforms to choose where to land, then you immediately adapt your trajectory to prepare the next leap. Some passages mainly require composure, others reward boldness when you try to catch a bonus that propels you higher and restarts your progress. You must therefore decide whether it is better to secure an easy landing or aim for a riskier element to gain height faster. Blockages come as much from traps as from the game's rhythm, because poor anticipation breaks your ascent and forces you to start again to do better.
