You take the wheel in GT Cars Mega Ramps, a driving game where customizable supercars charge along suspended tracks, gigantic ramps and trap-filled roads. From the start, the game delivers a very direct sense of speed, because you must keep the car stable while reading the track at full speed. In single player as well as in local two-player multiplayer, you string together duels and stunt sequences where the slightest mistake can send you into the void. In Face to Face, the tension rises immediately, since two cars cross paths at very high speed on a narrow track and a crash can fling debris capable of eliminating you instantly. Between attempts, you can also change your car's appearance, with a color panel, different rims, a window tint and even the color of the lights, giving each vehicle a clearly recognizable identity. Over the races, you must above all decide when to accelerate hard and when to stay clean in your lines, because the danger does not come only from opponents. The Mega Ramps mode throws you down spectacular descents where enormous rolling balls threaten to crush you, while walls made of crates and geometric shapes appear to break your momentum. The Color Lands mode changes the pace with its colored roads, like interlocking blocks, where obstacles follow one another and a single poorly handled slowdown can be enough to make you tip into the abyss. There is no level progression to follow; it is mainly your earnings that serve to buy other cars and enrich your garage.
