Duck Rescue - Screw Clear puts you facing ducks trapped in iron cages, held by a multitude of screws that must be dropped to free them. From the first seconds, you observe the structure, you choose a screw, then you see the piece slide into the lower groove. The game thus progresses in a mix of calm and tension, because each removal changes the situation and can set up a useful chain or, on the contrary, clog your progress. When two screws of the same color end up side by side, they disappear, and it is often that little visual click that restarts the whole level. You therefore do not simply remove fastenings at random, you look for the right order, you anticipate the colors that will come together and you try to open the cage little by little until you see the ducks finally saved. Over the course of a game, blockages appear quickly if you let screws fall without considering their neighbors. Some decisions seem simple, then you discover that a single wrong removal can prevent a truly useful color match. You must then reread the board, identify the screws that free others and sometimes accept to bide your time to create a better configuration. The game remains easy to understand, but it quickly becomes demanding because each level requires you to reconcile observation, order of action and management of the available space in the lower groove.
