Cut N' Fill places you in front of a grid of soft blocks that must be cut precisely to free each color and send it to the correct tank. From the first levels, you draw your cuts, watch the pieces separate, and then pieces of a single color are collected automatically as soon as they are ready. The gameplay is quick and very readable, but it soon demands real foresight, because a cut that is useful at the moment can complicate everything that follows. You progress through a series of 60 levels where the difficulty increases gradually, with clear objectives and an accessible start thanks to a short tutorial. The pleasure comes as much from the thinking as from the visual result, because watching the liquids fill the reservoirs smoothly gives each success a crisp and satisfying feeling. During a game, you do not only seek to separate colors, you mainly try to preserve the right shapes so that each piece ends in the right place without blocking the rest. Some grids introduce locks and keys that require you to prepare the ground before releasing an area, while others add rainbow tiles that can change how you read the puzzle. You must sometimes accept a multi-step solution, cut once to clear a passage, then cut again at the right moment to isolate the correct masses. The levels remain short, but situations renew enough to push you to revise your logic from one attempt to the next.
