Break Beat puts you in front of a screen filled with colorful bricks, with a paddle that slides from left to right to relaunch the ball and clear each level. From the first seconds, the game sets a frantic pace, between neon flashes, luminous pixel art and an electronic soundtrack that accompanies every bounce. You follow the trajectory of the ball, you catch it at the right moment, then you try to open breaches in the wall to reach the most crowded areas. The objective remains simple to understand: destroy all visible bricks to move to the next stage, but the pressure rises quickly, because energy decreases continuously and accelerates as the game goes on. When the ball hits the ground, you lose more energy, which forces you to remain focused without respite. As the match progresses, you do not only return the ball, you also monitor the colors that circulate between the game elements. The ball takes on the hue of the last brick it touched, then the paddle acquires the color of the last ball it sends back. If you then break bricks of the same color as your paddle, they produce protons that recharge your energy, which creates a real tension between survival and efficiency. Sometimes you must aim for a less accessible area to prepare a better recharge immediately afterwards. When only a few misplaced bricks remain, a laser can be fired regularly from the paddle to finish the cleanup and avoid a costly mistake. As you advance, you also aim to reach 15000 points in order to unlock the wheel of fortune, then win collectible cards to complete an album. Enjoy!
