You travel through eras with Barry Steakfries to push back waves of undead that invade the world. From the first minutes, the game throws you into brisk action, amid backdrops that change from one period to another, with enemies coming from several sides and forcing you to keep moving. Your goal is simple to understand, survive each encounter and clear the area to continue this light, tense and humorous adventure. Across the 24 levels spread over 8 worlds, you face zombies with varied behaviors, which pushes you to adapt your positioning, your attack pace and your way of approaching each fight. Some sequences become tenser when the screen fills, when a passage closes or when an enemy group cuts you off. The progression gives a real sense of growing power, as you gradually upgrade your weapons and abilities to better withstand the pressure. However, success does not depend only on your equipment, it also rests on your decisions at every moment: should you eliminate the closest enemies first, keep space around you or take a risk to shorten an assault. The 7 bosses each impose a clearer but more demanding confrontation, with attacks to observe and openings to exploit. Outside the main adventure, 12 Horde levels extend the challenge by focusing on endurance and score, which pleasantly changes the tempo.
